WHO ARE WE ?
We are Meryem and Hülya;
We both live in Istanbul, one of the largest metropolises in the world. We love the history, natural beauties and urban texture of Istanbul, but being in such a crowded and rhythmic city is not without its disadvantages. Like stress and air pollution. In addition to these two factors, we also have to deal with negative factors such as environmental pollution, carbon emissions, harmful rays of the sun, insufficient content of the nutrients we consume, irregular nutrition and irregular sleep. All of these decisively affect our skin health. And unfortunately, we are aware that most of the beauty products we use are full of toxins. Despite this, unfortunately, we lack strict regulations to protect our health. Like all of you, we have used many skin care products and followed different innovations throughout our development process. Sometimes we looked at bestseller lists and even tried our own recipes at home. We are always looking for new and better things. Of course, there were times when we remained loyal to some products.
With this sensitivity, we set out with the idea of a brand that you can trust in your personal care needs, which is environmentally and animal friendly, completely organic, away from synthetic substances that endanger human health, and has reliable and effective ingredients. As two female entrepreneurs, we used our knowledge to create something meaningful and sustainable to change the beauty industry's status quo and break the cycle of "aspirational beauty." We turned our face to nature to offer simple, natural products that contain only benefits, and to create a more sustainable personal care culture. We decided to establish an uncompromising skin care company with higher standards that the world we live in urgently needs and established the health brand Pharmapera, where we produce safe, products formulated in the best conditions with the basic principle of sustainable, happy and healthy life. In doing so, we have sought to create products that are a true investment in a better future, so that we can leave our planet better than we were.
OUR STORY
Our stories are what make us whole, and in their light we can achieve accurate sharing. The "Edelweiss" flower forms a part of our story. When we saw this flower, all our senses were activated and when we researched its story, we became passionately attached to it. In fact, the Edelweiss flower guided us on the path we chose in its struggle against nature and showed us that nature, purity, goodness and what is constantly needed should be achieved in the most correct way despite difficult conditions.
Edelweiss is a delicate snowdrop species that grows in the high parts of the Alps and the Taurus Mountains in Anatolia. Another name is "Alpine Star Flower" because of its appearance. This delicate flower has been a source of love, beauty and healing for humanity with its benefits and stories passed down from generation to generation. There are also stories that created romantic myths about brave men who went to the Alps and died picking flowers. They say; Love to death is embodied in this flower. Who knows how many young alpine villagers lost their lives on steep rocks in the race to gift this flower to their loved ones? However, doesn't pure love sometimes command us to face difficulties and sometimes die for this cause? In these stories, our flower symbolizes true and eternal love, immortality and devotion. Traditional folklore says that gifting an edelweiss flower to a loved one is a promise of commitment. We promise our loyalty to you with our products with these hero components.
